About Baoji Petroleum Steel Pipe Co., Ltd.
"Baoji Petroleum Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as “BSG”) was the first spiral submerged arc welded pipe manufacturer in China. It is the national large-scale and first level enterprise, belonging to CNPC and integrates pipe making, pipe coating and casing processing. It is also the backbone enterprise of national pipeline construction and state center of procedure research, test and inspection, technical information of welded pipes.
The company owns 6 sets of SSAW pipe production line, one ERW pipe production line, one casing and coupling process line. Its annual production capacity is 620,000 tons (including 100,000 tons casing). It also has 3 sets of external coating lines and 1 set of internal coating line, and coating capacity is 6,300,000 square meters. Main products are spiral submerged arc welded pipe, electric resistance welded pipe and ERW casing. The products conform to API Spec 5L, API Spec.5CT, GB/T9711 and other Standards. It can coat pipe external with FBE, 2PE, 3PE and 3PP, as well as pipe internal with liquid solvent free epoxy. Its welded pipes have been widely used in long distance pipelines such as petroleum, natural gas, water, coal gas and mineral slurry, as well as oil well casing.
The company pays great attention to product quality, set up all-course quality assurance system from material incoming to after sales service. Product quality has been always in the national pioneer position, and the SSAW pipe has been awarded with national quality top medal for 3 times. The company is the first enterprise to get the right to use API Monogram and to pass ISO 9000 Quality system verification by DNV and CSQA.
By the end of 2003, the company had produced about 4,300,000 tons for 120s key pipelines for gas and oil transmission, and had exported welded pipes to more than 20 countries, such as Pakistan, India, Sudan, Indonesia, Kazakhstan and U.S.A. etc."
